Requirements

Responsibilities Field Engineering:-

•    Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft management

•    Perform amount calculations by taking measurements and determinant share of completed/installed materials and work

•    Assist within the preparation of labor plans and work packages

•    Assist in field measuring and work layout support together with elevation, management points, and compilation of as-built knowledge

•    Assist in assembling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheets

•    Assist within the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s)

•    Participate in jobsite safety reviews, tool cabinet conferences, mass safety conferences, and safety coaching

Order and schedule material deliveries

•    Plan, schedule, and coordinate work teams on the jobsite

•    Supervise field operations

Office Engineering

•    Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and alternative contract documents

•    Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations

•    Assist Engineers to collect and prepare knowledge for submittal or transmission to the client, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use

•    Assist in preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts, playing minor solicitations and buying as requested

•    Assist in schedule maintenance and playing updates as directed by others

•    Assist within the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions together with daily reports, pictures, requests for data (RFIs), and memorandums

•    Assist with coming into knowledge into the work price system and participate in reviewing price reports with jobsite management

•    Assist in generating amendment orders and as-built knowledge to be reviewed by the Project Manager

• give field support and supervise contractor operations

Estimating

•    Assist in reviewing and analyzing historical knowledge relative to the project, incorporating varied productions and prices applicable in preparation of a bid

•    Complete a concept ANd specification review for an assigned  project, assessing the danger areas and transfer them to the eye of the Senior calculator

•    Complete material and amount takeoffs in step with bid documents

Qualifications 

•    Ability to travel and relocate PRN (average project life-cycle 1-2 years, starting 2018)
